Education System in Pakistan

The education system in Pakistan is generally split up into five levels: - 1) Primary (Grades one to Grade 5)

2) Middle (Grades six to Grade 8)

3) Substantial (Grade Nine to Quality 10) Also known as Secondary 4) Intermediate (Grade eleven to 12) Often known as Higher Secondary 5) University or college (Undergraduate and Graduate degree)

(14 to 16 Years of Education)

1) Principal Level of Education

The standard national approach to education is primarily inspired through the British System. Pre-School education is designed for 3-5 years old and usually consists of three stages (Play Group, Setting and Kindergarten (KG)). Following pre-school education, students proceed through junior college from quality 1 to five. Only 80% of Pakistani children finish primary institution education. 2) Middle Level of Education

After completing grade 5 Examination which is conducted by the Punjab Exam Commission Lahore, students happen to be promoted in Middle Level ie grade 6 to 8. For middle level single-sex education is usually favored by the community but co-education is also common in downtown cities of the Pakistan. Subject matter Taught for Middle Education level:

At central level of education the eight frequently examined subject matter are Urdu, English, Math, Arts, Research, Social Studies, Islamiyat and sometime Computer system Studies. A few institutes also give training in international languages including Turkish, Arabic, Persian, The french language and China. The language of instruction depends on the nature in the institution on its own, whether it is a language medium college or an Urdu moderate School. 3) High/Secondary Education level

After completing grade 8 Examination which can be conducted by Punjab Exam Commission Lahore, Students happen to be promoted to High/Secondary Level ie level 9 to 10 and this is known Secondary School Certificate (SSC).
